Information collected from Merchants

When you install an App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account, according to the permissions you approve during installation. We collect this information to provide you with our Services; for example, to confirm your identity, contact you, provide customer support when you contact us, and deliver the features of the App.

Depending on the App and the permissions granted, this may include shop identifiers, product and catalog data, media or files you upload or manage through the App, configuration settings, and related account information needed to operate the Services.

Information collected from Merchants’ customers

For us to be able to provide you with our Services and support, for you to better serve your Customers, and to improve our Services, our apps may process limited information related to storefront use of the App’s features (for example interaction or analytics events needed to operate widgets or similar experiences).

We process this information to provide the Services to merchants. We do not sell Personal Information. If you are a merchant’s customer and wish to exercise privacy rights, please contact the merchant you interacted with directly — we serve as a processor on their behalf where applicable, and can forward requests as required.

If you are a merchant’s customer and wish to exercise these rights, please contact the merchants you interacted with directly — we serve as a processor on their behalf, and can only forward your request to them to allow them to respond.
